...bending over clover leaves,
hope, faith and love, or sign of Trinity.
It's bending over a part of the same plant it belongs,
and they seem to be talking,.
It seems to be bowing to the leaving sun.
It's closed, but seems a promise of new blooming that is coming with the new day.
That's why I like this picture.

Bravissima!!!!
Che bella sorpresa! così sei internazionale!
As I promised:
Marcus is on a picnic with Fiona’s friend Suzie, Suzie’s daughter Megan,
Will and all the others from SPAT, in Regent’s Park. Marcus didn’t want to
go there, but his mother made him. She said she needed to be alone for a
while. So there he was, throwing pieces of sandwich at a duck.
“Marcus couldn’t believe it. Dead. A dead duck. OK, he’d been trying to hit
it on the head with a piece of sandwich, but he tired to do all sorts of
things, and none of them had ever happened before.
There must have been something wrong with it. It was probably just about to
die from a heart attack or something; it was just a coincidence.
´What’s that floating next to it?` Will asked. ´Is that the bread you threw
at it?`
Marcus nodded unhappily.
´That’s not a sandwich, that’s a bloody French loaf. No wonder it keeled
over. That would have killed me.` ”
This passage is funny, and this is how most of About a Boy is written. Nick
Hornby is great at describing serious stuff, like death, in a funny way.
The following passage isn’t as fun though.
are you & your loved ones all right? i just heard about the earthquake. praying. :(
